Brief Description

One of Europes  largest Plasterboard or Dry wall manufacturers  has  been associated   with the manufacture and import of contaminated products which are estimated to have seriously affected over 250,000 homes.

The company and their agents or builders using or supplying the products are currently facing potential liability isssues especially as insurance may not cover the losses. The full extent of the problem has yet to materialise but  is already considered to be one of the largest environmental claims in US history alone.

The problems are said to be so serious that it is generally accepted that homes or buildings affected may have to be demolished.

This awareness  module identifies the basic issues which covers, health effects from exposure, types of contamination. damage caused to the building and its contents, together with visual markers. We also show how you can  accurately confirm or deny the presence of the plasterboard / drywall by air sampling.
